Pest Control Marketing Agencies: An Honest Look at 8 Options

TL;DR

  • The best pest control marketing agency for you depends on your size, the services you need, and how much control you want over your own accounts.
  • Only two of the eight agencies on this list publish a pest control price: Blue Corona (from $5,000 a month) and Cube Creative Design ($1,500 to $4,000 a month).
  • Scorpion bought Coalmarch on Oct. 19, 2026. Coalmarch now belongs to Scorpion, a large multi-industry agency.
  • Terms vary: DAGMAR Marketing says all its contracts are month to month, Pesty Marketing starts with a 3-month agreement, and Cube uses a 1-year agreement. Walk away from any agency that guarantees first-page rankings or leads, since Google says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking.
  • Confirm in writing that you'll own your website, domain, and Google Business Profile, then ask for a free marketing review if you want a second opinion on your shortlist.

Best Pest Control Marketing Agencies, Compared Side by Side

Which marketing agency is best for a pest control company? It depends on your size, the services you need, and how much control you want over your own accounts. The best pest control marketing agencies for a six-truck shop and a 30-truck regional company are rarely the same.

Most "best agency" lists are written by one of the agencies on them. They tend to skip the price, the contract term, and who owns the company. This list is written by an agency too — ours. Cube Creative Design is on it, in the same format as everyone else, with one honest limit spelled out.

We work with pest management companies every day, so we know what owners ask first: What does it cost, how long am I locked in, and who owns my website if I leave? We checked each agency's own website on Oct. 28, 2026, and only two of the eight publish a pest control price at all.

Below you'll find a summary table, a profile of each agency, a guide to choosing, and the questions to ask before you sign.

Which Are the Best Pest Control Marketing Agencies in 2026?

The best pest control marketing agencies in 2026 include Coalmarch, Scorpion, Pesty Marketing, DAGMAR Marketing, Blue Corona, Thrive Agency, PestControlSEO.com, and Cube Creative Design. What Should You Know About Each Pest Control Marketing Company?

Each profile below covers seven facts in the same order. You'll see who the agency is, who it fits best, whether it's pest-only, its public price, and its parent company. Then you'll get one strength and one question to ask. The facts come from each agency's own website, checked on Oct. 28, 2026, plus trade news where noted.

Coalmarch

Coalmarch is a Raleigh, North Carolina, agency that has marketed pest control and lawn care companies since 2004. Jeff Davis is its CEO, and its site says it has worked with more than 400 pest and lawn companies over 20 years. Coalmarch is best for companies that sell both pest control and lawn care and want a long-time specialist in those two trades. We found no stated size range. It works only in pest and lawn, and it doesn't publish a price.

Scorpion bought Coalmarch on Oct. 19, 2026. Coalmarch now belongs to Scorpion, a large multi-industry agency. The sale was reported by Pest Control Technology the same day. Trey Pelz, Scorpion's general manager of pest, said in the PR Newswire release, "We don't want to change what's already working."

The same release says Coalmarch clients gain access to RevenueMAX, Scorpion's AI tool for tying marketing to revenue. Coalmarch's strength is two decades spent on two trades. The question to ask Coalmarch: What changes for my account under Scorpion, and who will my day-to-day contact be? Our Cube vs. Coalmarch comparison goes deeper.

Scorpion

In its Oct. 19, 2026, press release, Scorpion calls itself "the leading provider of digital marketing and technology solutions for local businesses." The release also cites "more than 25 years of marketing expertise" and names a general manager of pest. Scorpion is best for owners who want one large vendor with its own technology. Its size fit isn't confirmed, because its site blocked our check. It isn't pest-only, since it markets local businesses in many industries.

Scorpion's pricing is custom and not public, and its terms vary by client, as our Cube vs. Scorpion comparison explains. Its parent company is not confirmed either.

Scorpion's strength is size: a large company with its own platform and a leader who focuses on pest. The question to ask Scorpion: If I leave, do I keep my website, its content, and my data, and can I move all of it to another host?

Pesty Marketing

Pesty Marketing is an Austin, Texas, agency led by co-founder and CEO Andrew Peluso. It offers SEO, pay-per-click (PPC) ads, web design, and generative engine optimization (GEO) for AI search.

Its site says it works best with companies at $1 million or more in revenue that aim to grow 30% or more a year. That makes it a fit for mid-size companies on a fast growth plan. It's pest-only, "built exclusively for pest control" in its own words.

Pesty doesn't publish a price, and it names no parent company. Its strength is a short first term: an initial 3-month agreement, then month-to-month with 30 days' written notice.

The question to ask Pesty: Do you take on companies below $1 million in revenue, and how does the plan change if we're smaller? Our Cube vs. Pesty comparison covers more.

DAGMAR Marketing

DAGMAR Marketing is a Jacksonville, Florida, agency that works across several industries. It's best for owners who want month-to-month terms from the first day, since its site says, "All of our contracts are month to month." We found no stated size range. It isn't pest-only. Pest control is one of the industries it lists, and its site also covers HVAC.

DAGMAR doesn't publish a price, and it names no parent company. Its strength is that contract: you can leave without waiting out a long term. The question to ask DAGMAR: How many pest control clients do you serve now, and who on your team works on those accounts?

Blue Corona

Blue Corona is a Gaithersburg, Maryland, agency founded by Ben Landers. It's best for companies with a marketing budget of at least $5,000 a month that want detailed call and lead tracking. It isn't pest-only. It markets contractors, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, garage door, and pest control companies.

Blue Corona is one of only two agencies on this list that publish a pest control price. Its pest page says packages "can run anywhere from $5,000 per month and above." Blue Corona merged with RYNO Strategic Solutions in October 2024 and now operates under the RYNO brand. Its own merger announcement names EverService Holdings as RYNO's parent company.

Blue Corona's strength is tracking. It measures calls and leads, and each client gets two contacts, an account director and an account manager. The question to ask Blue Corona: What does $5,000 a month include, and is ad spend inside that number or on top of it?

Thrive Agency

Thrive Agency is a full-service agency founded by Matt Bowman in 2005. Its site lists more than 160 employees across 34 states and 10 countries, plus thousands of clients. Thrive is best for owners who want a large agency with many services under one roof. We found no stated size range. It isn't pest-only, though it has a pest control SEO page with custom packages.

Thrive doesn't publish a pest control price; its pricing page shows only general SEO ranges. It names no parent company.

Thrive's strength is the depth of its staff. The question to ask Thrive: Who on your team has run pest control accounts, and how many of those accounts do they handle now?

PestControlSEO.com

PestControlSEO.com is a Chicago agency founded by Dan Leibrandt. It offers websites, Google Business Profile management, Google Ads, website maintenance, and consulting. It's best for owners who want a pest-only shop led by a founder who teaches the subject in public. We found no stated size range. The agency is pest-only.

PestControlSEO.com doesn't publish a price, and it names no parent company.

Its strength is that public teaching. Leibrandt wrote a book on pest control SEO and co-wrote one on pest control marketing. He hosts a podcast and is a partner in a coaching program with more than 300 pest control owners, so you can hear how he thinks before you sign. The question to ask PestControlSEO.com: Who will do the day-to-day work on my account, and how often will I talk to that person?

Cube Creative Design

Cube Creative Design was founded in 2005 and markets pest control and wildlife companies, plus private schools. It's best for companies with 10 or more techs that want a set price and full ownership of what they pay for. Cube isn't pest-only, and a five-truck company falls below its smallest plan.

Cube publishes its pest control marketing pricing. Foundation is $1,500 a month (10 to 25 techs), Growth is $2,400 (15 to 40 techs), and Dominance is $4,000 (40 or more techs). Paying for the year up front takes 10% off. Every plan includes a website, SEO, Google Business Profile management, and monthly reporting, with 48 to 96 pieces of content a year.

Cube has no parent company and no private equity owner. Its strength is ownership. There are no exit fees and no platform lock-in, and you own everything we build. The term is a 1-year agreement, then it renews for 1 year or for several years unless you give 30 days' notice before the term ends.

Here's the honest limit. Cube is a small team, and that 1-year term is longer than Pesty's or DAGMAR's. The question to ask Cube: Who on your small team does the work on my account each month?

How Do You Choose the Best Pest Control Marketing Agency for Your Company?

Choose the best pest control marketing agency by checking five things. Look at your size, the services you need, price openness, contract terms, and who owns your accounts. Get every answer in writing before you sign. A good fit on paper beats a good sales call.

Start With Your Company's Size and Budget

NPMA and PCO Bookkeepers' 2025 cost study found that the pest control companies it studied put 6.6% of revenue into marketing and advertising. That one figure covers marketing and advertising together.

Run that math for a growing company with about $600,000 in revenue. At 6.6%, its whole marketing budget is about $39,600 a year, or $3,300 a month. A $5,000 monthly agency fee is more than that entire budget before a single ad runs.

Now take a mid-size company near $1.8 million in revenue. At the same rate, it has about $118,800 a year, or roughly $9,900 a month, to split between an agency and ad spend. That company can afford a wider shortlist. The smaller one should start with agencies whose stated fit or price matches its size. Our guide to planning your 2027 marketing budget shows how to split that money by company size.

Match the Services You Actually Sell

A pest-only agency already knows your seasons and the words homeowners type into Google. A multi-industry agency may bring more staff and more channels. If you also sell lawn care, a pest and lawn specialist fits that mix. If you run a sister trade like HVAC, a contractor-focused agency may handle both.

The 2025 NPMA cost study reports that recurring revenue makes up 74% of total income for the companies it studied. Ask each agency whether it tracks which leads become recurring plans, since a one-time job and a quarterly customer aren't worth the same.

Favor Agencies That Publish Their Prices

Only two of the eight agencies here publish a pest control price. You'd never ask a homeowner to sign a quarterly plan without telling them the price. Hold your agency to the same rule. Our pest control SEO packages comparison shows what each price tier should include.

A custom quote isn't a red flag. But it should split the agency fee from ad spend, list any setup fee, and name what you get each month.

Read the Contract Terms Before the Proposal

Three agencies here publish their terms. DAGMAR says all of its contracts are month to month. Pesty starts with a 3-month agreement, then goes month-to-month with 30 days' notice. Cube uses a 1-year agreement, then it renews for 1 year or for several years unless you give 30 days' notice.

A short term makes it easy to leave. A longer term should give you something back — no exit fees, a written scope, and full ownership of the work. Cube's reason for the year is simple: SEO takes months to show, and pest demand swings by season, so a year covers one full season. Our guide to choosing a marketing partner for your pest control business covers the tradeoffs.

Make Sure You Own Your Website and Accounts

Your website, domain, Google Business Profile, Google Ads account, and call-tracking numbers should be yours, not the agency's. Google's Business Profile help page says an owner has "full control over the profile," including the power to add or remove users. Managers get nearly the same access, except they "can't add or remove users or remove the profile." So you stay the owner, and the agency works as a manager.

Think of it like the keys to your shop. You can hand a copy to the agency, but the deed stays in your name. Our post on the hidden costs of proprietary platforms shows what happens when the agency holds the deed.

What Questions Should You Ask Any Agency on Your Shortlist?

Ask every agency on your shortlist the same questions, in writing, and compare the answers side by side. Focus on price, term, ownership, who does the work, and what they promise. Walk away from any agency that guarantees first-page rankings or a set number of leads.

Google Search Central states, "No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google." An agency that guarantees rankings or leads isn't telling you the truth.

Bring these to every call:

  • What's the monthly fee, and is ad spend included or extra?
  • How long is the first term, and what does it take to leave?
  • Is there a setup fee or an exit fee?
  • Who owns the website, domain, Google Business Profile, Google Ads account, and call-tracking numbers?
  • Who does the work on my account each month, and how many other pest control clients do they handle?
  • What will I see in each monthly report?
  • What exactly do you guarantee?

A good answer to that last one is the work and the reporting. A ranking or a lead count is the wrong answer. For more warning signs, see our list of red flags when evaluating marketing agencies.

Choose the Agency That Fits Your Size, Then Check the Fine Print

Every agency on this list is a real option for the right company. A $1 million-plus company chasing fast growth needs something different than a six-truck shop watching every dollar. Start with your budget, match the services you sell, and favor agencies that put price and terms in writing. Then ask everyone the same questions, and get the ownership answer on paper.

If you'd like a second set of eyes on your shortlist, let's talk. Ask for a free marketing review, and I'll look at your website, Google Business Profile, and current reports and tell you what I'd fix first. There's no cost and no pitch, and if your shortlist points somewhere else, that's fine too.
